If you’re a seasoned shopper, you know certain retailers only do major sales a few times a year.  Shopbop is an online retailer, that carries quite a few boutique and designer brands, and they are having an incredible sale, use code STOCKUP18  to save 20% off under $500, or 25% Off $500 or more. Over on Instagram, A LOT of my followers asked to see my fall picks from the Shopbop sale. I had another post lined up for today, but the sale ends tomorrow, on September 29th, so I figured it’s now or never.

Why would anyone be so interested in what I’d buy? Well, I get it, there are pages upon pages of items to sift through, it can get overwhelming, and you may just want to be able to see a very edited list of items to consider.  It’s part of my job to sift, so you don’t have to…

Before we get started with the viewing party, please understand something….

I am absolutely NOT encouraging you to spend a lot of money on any one item.  Buy only what YOU can afford.  You do not have to spend a lot of money to have great style.

That being said, whenever I’m shopping any retailer like Shopbop, that carries higher end pieces, I look to get the most bang for my buck. What does that mean? I buy pieces that I know are going to be great quality, and will stand the test of time.

I don’t generally spend a lot of money on something, I feel is very trend led.

Even if an item is currently “on trend” (I’ve got serious issues with that term) I evaluate how much I really love it.  If I love it, and I’m able to see myself wearing it 10 years from now, “on trend” or not, then I take the plunge.

I don’t allow my decisions, to be based in any part, on what’s “trendy” in the fashion industry.

That’s why the majority of my closet, consists of classic pieces, with a little bit of “zhush” thrown in for fun! Although I will say, that my love of the “zhush” can sometimes get the best of me, but that’s a story for another day! I know myself, I know my style.  So I feel comfortable spending a bit more, knowing I won’t change my mind a month from now.

Something else to keep in mind, if you follow me on social media, or you’re a regular visitor here on my blog, you’ve probably noticed, I will, and encourage you, to shop anywhere! You never know what you’ll find.

My preferred way of shopping, is to mix high and low.

Now that I’ve recited my disclaimer, here are my picks.

I’ve broken them down by category, to make it a little easier to navigate.
